About Kathryn Freitas

It has been my pleasure to sell properties and represent buyers in North Hawaii and along the Kohala Coast since 2003, including being part of a sales team that has sold over $90M in real estate at Kauna'oa, a private residential enclave located within the Mauna Kea Resort.  A Big Island resident since 1995, it is truly an honor to live and work in this summit-to-sea paradise.  As an agent, my strengths include long-term client relationships, comfort with large numbers, presentations, trained negotiations and, frankly, plain old persistence. Prior to real estate, I owned a management training business and prior to that was the Director of Quality at the Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua.  When not serving clients, I can be found playing in the ocean, hiking and golfing with my husband and two sons.

 

My Philosophy

There are many qualities and skills that go into being an excellent real estate professional.  In-depth community and market knowledge, effective negotiation skills and a high-quality professional network are all hallmarks of how I work.

 

That said, in my experience as a Big Island real estate professional, I've also found that providing the very best service is essentially about anticipating and exceeding my clients' expectations. This means keeping myself accessible, being a good listener as well as a good communicator and keeping on top of new and emerging real estate information.  This philosophy has always been my approach to business and agency; it requires me to continually improve my skills and ways of doing business. In addition, I've found that the latest technologies are enabling me to do everything I've always done, only much more quickly and efficiently. Advanced technology has also helped me to extend the range of services I provide my clients.
